Concrete was polished and dyed black. The concrete was extremely soft, a lot of chemicals were introduced to allow the concrete to be polished.
Glennwood Residence
Tile floors were removed and 2-3/4" of concrete was poured to fill the recessed area in the slab. Just over 3 weeks later, the floor was polished to a 3,500 grit shine.
River Oaks Residence
Thickset Tile floors were removed and 3" of concrete was poured to fill the recessed area in the slab. Just over 3 weeks later, the floor was polished to a 3,500 grit shine. Floors were dyed with our special blend of color to create a beautiful dark gray floor.

Timber Grove Residence

Colored Floors
Concrete Dye comes in many colors to choose. These are some examples of colored floors including blue-green, walnut, and a gray-sand blend.
Woodmeadow Residence
These floors were dyed midnight black.
Microtopping Cement Floor
This is a floor that was skim coated with 3 layers of micro-cement topping. The total thickness was around 1/8" thick. The floor was then dyed and sealed with a polyurethane finish
Grind & Seal Floor
This floor was over 80 years old in an old warehouse in downtown Houston. Three layers of epoxy coatings were removed and then the floor was coated with a clear epoxy with polyurethane topcoat.
